Summary:

The demo board DC1953A is designed with the 8-channel power adapter LTC3374. The LTC3374 is a high efficiency, multi-output power IC. The DC/DC includes eight synchronous buck converters (each providing 1A of output current), all powered by a separate 2.25V to 5.5V input supply.

DC/DC can be used alone or in parallel to provide a higher output current (up to 4A per output) with a shared inductor. The common buck switching frequency can be set with an external resistor, synchronized to an external oscillator, or set to a default internal 2MHz clock. All DC/DC operating modes can be set via the MODE pin.
