Network home appliance system is a multi-functional technical system, including video intercom, security, home wiring, lighting control, home appliance control, environmental condition monitoring, remote video monitoring, sound monitoring, home audio and video systems. Home intelligence is mainly based on bus system, power line carrier, and wireless mode. In terms of network connection, it is basically implemented by bus network, telephone networking or Ethernet. This paper introduces the composition and implementation of a network home appliance system based on GSM technology.
Overview
The home appliance intelligent terminal, that is, the network home appliance is the transportation hub of the network home appliance system. Most of the traditional home appliances are controlled by the single-chip microcomputer, which cannot meet the requirements of remote intelligent control. The network home appliance is to upgrade the microcontroller of the traditional home appliance to the micro-function with network function. The controller, combined with a complete embedded system, enables seamless connection of network technology and home appliance control systems.
The block diagram of the network home appliance system is shown in Figure 1. It consists of the following four parts: 1 home appliance interface control unit, which realizes the mutual conversion of RF signal to home appliance UART interface signal, as a wireless data modem for networking appliances; 2 home appliance gateway is network The information transmission control center of the home appliance, built-in wireless data modem, controls and queries the registered home appliances by accepting the upper computer (PC, laptop), mobile phone and mobile phone instructions; 3PC, complex control of home appliances through the home appliance gateway , query, record and other operations, mainly provide operating platform for network appliance control software, while remote monitoring of home appliances through the Internet; 4GSM mobile phone, to achieve long-distance, mobile wireless control functions.
Appliance interface control unit
The schematic diagram of the home appliance interface control unit is shown in Figure 2. The MCU uses Toshiba's 8-bit TMP86P807 microcontroller, and the RF receiving and transmitting circuit uses Chipcon's CC1000. The circuit can work in the frequency range of 300-1000MHz, output power and work. Frequency programmable, FSK data transmission can be greater than 76.8kbps, no external RF switch, IF filtering, simple peripheral circuit. A variety of different applications can be implemented by properly configuring the CC1000 internal working registers.
Appliance gateway
The home appliance gateway is the hub for connecting network appliances. The requirements for the processor are high. This article selects Renesas Technology's 16-bit microcontroller M30245, built-in 128K FLASH, 10K RAM, 1 full-speed (12Mbps) USB interface, 4 UART communication. Interface, 8-channel 10-bit A/D converter, five 16-bit multi-function timers, etc., also includes hardware CRC calculation circuit, watchdog and other circuits, Figure 3 is the principle block diagram of the home appliance gateway.
The schematic diagram of the home appliance gateway is shown in Figure 4. The RF module unit performs the wireless transceiver function of the MCU data; the GSM module is the link between the MCU and the mobile phone and the short message communication; the SIM card is the identification device that allows the GSM module to enter the network; The button unit realizes simple control and display of the home gateway: the EEPROM saves the identification code of the registered home appliance and the mobile phone and the related information required for the personalized control; the USB interface realizes the fast communication between the home gateway and the PC, and the RS232 interface is used between the two. Interrupt communication; the digital input and output interfaces realize the acquisition and output control of user-defined digital signals; the simulation debugging interface realizes the download and debugging of the program.
summary
The network home appliance system technology uses computer technology, microelectronic technology and communication technology to integrate all the functions of intelligent home appliances through the intelligent terminal of home appliances and its system software, so that the smart home is built on a unified platform, which involves the home appliance network. The operation and management of smart devices and systems, as well as the application of integrated technologies, will continue to evolve as integration technologies, communication technologies, interoperability and cabling standards evolve.
