To meet the lighting requirements in rendezvous and docking, the illumination distance is 150 meters.
The environmental test conditions of Shenzhou-8 and Tiangong No.1 equipment were greatly improved compared with Shenzhou VII. The environmental test temperature was increased from -15 °C to 50 °C to -35 °C to 70 °C, and the environmental test time was also doubled. Therefore, the quality level of components and raw materials used in the equipment is higher.
According to reports, in addition to the addition of LED lighting equipment, in order to display more data information of Shenzhou 8 and Tiangong No. 1 instrumentation equipment, the requirements for graphic display have also been added.
