1, base support installation torque sensor: torque sensor with a square base, base support installation with bearings. Therefore, you need to consider the error of angle and parallelism, which requires full coupling (or dual flexible coupling) at both ends of the sensor. The use of support mounting can reduce the length of non-support bearings and change the critical speed. When using a brace installation, it is important to make appropriate adjustments.

2, torque sensor hanging installation:

The torque sensor can be mounted without bearings in the drive train. When mounting in a suspended manner, the torque sensor can be placed between the two coupling halves. Only a parallel misalignment adjustment is required because the angular displacement can be adjusted by the sensor suspension. However, it is not recommended to use two coupling halves. When the torque sensor is located in the middle of the drive train and the two flexible couplings, it may cause catastrophic results due to the weight of the torque sensor causing rope skipping during rotation.

3, connection: connection between torque sensor and power equipment, load equipment

Flexible pin coupling: the structure is simple, easy to process and easy to maintain. It can compensate the relative displacement of the shaft caused by installation errors in a slight amount, and it can also play a minor role in vibration reduction. Suitable for medium-load, high-speed operation with frequent start-ups. Operating temperature is -20-70°C.

Rigid coupling coupling: simple structure, low cost, no compensation performance, no buffer damping, and high installation precision for both shafts. For very low vibration conditions.

4, installation requirements:

(1) The power equipment, sensors, and load equipment should be installed on a stable foundation to avoid excessive vibration, otherwise data instability may occur, measurement accuracy may be reduced, and even the sensor may be damaged.

(2) Use a flexible pin coupling or a rigid coupling.

(3) The concentricity of the axes of power equipment, sensors and load equipment should be less than Φ0.05mm.

5, installation notes:

1, when installed, can not be charged, do not directly hit, collision sensors.

2. The fastening bolts of the coupling should be tightened. The outside of the coupling should be provided with a protective cover to avoid personal injury.

3, the signal line output shall not be ground, short circuit to the power supply, the output current is not more than 10mA. The shielding layer of the shielded cable must be connected to the common terminal (power ground) of the +15V power supply.
