220KV 110KV refers to the voltage input to the substation. In long-distance transmission, the voltage is usually divided into several levels. In the commonly used high-voltage transmission, more is 10KV, 35KV, and the 110KV/220KV substation converts the input voltage into medium. Low voltage is transmitted to the lower level.
From the reliability of power supply, it is obvious that 220kV and above are higher than 110kV substation, so there is a big difference in the primary wiring method. According to the specific conditions of the project, the 110kV substation is obviously simple.
In terms of electrical, 110kV realizes three-phase one-time reclosing, (checking or checking the same period, there are strict differences between the two). Substation 220kV and above is required to realize comprehensive reclosing, (checking or checking the same period). In the protection configuration, only one set of complete protection is required for 110kV and below, (including line and electrical equipment) 220kV and above, two sets of main protection are required, and they are independent of each other. 2 sets of different protections from the same manufacturer or the same protection from different manufacturers. The purpose is to ensure the safety of the equipment to ensure that the fault is completely removed when an electrical fault occurs. The switches operate differently. In terms of communication: 110kV and above are basically single Ethernet structures, and the whole set of devices are all concentrated in the main control room. 220kV and above are dual-network structures, which are distributed and installed. Especially for large-scale substations, special protection rooms are set up. The main control room and the communication room are relatively independent, but they are all in the main control building.
