The LED display has the advantages of easy control, fast response, low cost and the like, and has wide application prospects. However, in addition to some indoor applications, LED large screens are mostly used in squares, railway stations, commercial streets, etc. Due to factors such as temperature, humidity, smoke, rain, dust, etc., LEDs will age rapidly, and failures and lifespans will be shortened. Repairing if there is a problem can result in high cost repair or irreparable damage.
The monitoring board can detect the temperature, relative humidity, smoke and other information of the environment where the LED display is located in real time, and upload the measured parameter information to the control computer, and the monitoring software will display the information on the interface. This makes the working conditions and environmental parameters of each light box appear, which is convenient for monitoring and management.
A single-chip microcomputer of STC is selected as the core processing device. The single-chip microcomputer has 8 channels of A/D channels. Because all the signals to be measured are analog quantities, they need to be converted into digital quantities to be processed. The temperature can be measured with thermistor or DS18B20, DS18B20 digital temperature sensor with high precision. Considering that the operation of the DS18B20 is complicated, it occupies a large program space of the single chip microcomputer, and the temperature accuracy required by the monitoring board is not high, so the thermistor is used as the temperature sensor device. Commonly used relative humidity sensors are humidity sensitive resistors and humidity sensitive capacitors. Using a combination of a humidity sensitive capacitor and a 555 timer, the program is easy to implement and relatively stable. The smoke sensor has two types of photoelectric and ionic. After comparison, the ion type smoke sensor is slightly higher in price, but the processing procedure is simpler and the program space occupied is small, so the ion type smoke sensor is used.

The MCU with its own A/D conversion function can be used as a processor, and with the temperature sensor, humidity sensor and smoke sensor, the collection and measurement of these three environmental parameters can be realized.
