According to the municipal municipal management committee, the city's opening night lighting facilities are the longest in history. From August 1st to 7th, every night from 19:40 to 23:00, all major buildings, various road lighting and landscape lighting throughout the city are open according to general holiday requirements; from August 30th to 19:30 to the next morning 30 minutes, August 9 to 24, every night from 19:30 to 24:00, according to major festival requirements.
According to reports, unlike the lighting during the May 1st, the 11th and the Spring Festival in previous years, the open night lighting highlights the Olympic elements and traditional Chinese culture. There are some light and shadow lines on the handrails of Beichen East Bridge and Beichen West Bridge. It is transparent, smooth, stretched and atmospheric, as if it is an extension of the external shape of the Bird's Nest and the Water Cube. The Beichen Bridge Pedestrian Bridge is the main entrance of the Olympic Center. The nightscape lighting on the bridge is dominated by the traditional Chinese symbolic dragon, which echoes the opposite dragon-shaped water system. In addition, the attractions such as the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace, the Working People's Cultural Palace and the main bridges of the ring have also been carefully decorated.
In order to ensure the effect of night lighting, the municipal municipal management committee requires relevant units to patrol the night lighting facilities during the lighting. The problem must be solved in time to ensure the safety and normal use of the lighting facilities to ensure good night lighting.
