Cross-strait LED industry standards will be announced

Taiwan’s LED Lighting Industry Alliance (TLLIA) recently stated that the cross-strait LED industry bridging plan is progressing smoothly. The first edition of the “Design and Classification of Electrical Specifications for LED Interfaces” on both sides of the Taiwan Strait will be launched in the near future after being brewed for two years and is expected to be on June 18. Announced during Taipei Optoelectronic Week. This will be the first time that Taiwan and the mainland have reached an industry standard for LED lighting.

After signing the LED lighting industry bridging scheme on both sides of the Taiwan Strait in 2009, after many exchanges of opinions on technology, industry development, etc., several streetlight pilots were conducted, and both parties had preliminary cooperation results in LED lighting applications. The market estimates that the LED market will begin to flourish in 2013, and the cross-strait LED lighting industry will pay more attention to the standardization process.
