The AAT3193 can drive three LEDs at 30mA to support lower cost, black and white and highly non-reflective TFT-LCD panel illumination. The next product in this series, the AAT3192, can drive two sets of LEDs. Both components offer better than 10% component-to-component current accuracy and better than 3% channel-to-channel current matching. These new charge pump components automatically switch between 1x and 2x modes for high efficiency and will reduce the number of external components required.
Through the AAT3193, each set of LEDs can be set via traditional linear PWM technology or AnalogicTech's patented single-wire S2Cwire interface. Designers using the S2Cwire interface will be able to set each WLED up to 30mA in steps of 16, 8, or 4. The AAT3193 also features built-in overheat protection and automatic softness.
