The Guangzhou Construction Committee explained that some of the original street lamps on Dongfeng Road have been used for more than ten years, and the replacement conditions have been met. If only this part is changed, it is not beautiful, so the entire section is replaced by a Chinese lantern. Moreover, the original street lights only have road lighting functions, monotonous and no landscape effect. The Chinese lantern has a unique shape and is a landscape light suitable for urban road lighting. The Guangzhou Construction Committee finally stated that the old street lamps that were replaced will not be discarded as long as they are not damaged, and will be temporarily put into stocks and reused in the future.
