Recently, Texas Instruments (TI) announced the launch of a set of highly robust voice and fax processing modules for creating voice transcoding and VoIP media gateway solutions, further enriching its extensive voice processing software. Voice Library Version 1.0 (VoLIB) and Fax Library Version 1.0 (FAXLIB) are built on TI ’s proven Telogy Software, targeting TI ’s TMS320C55x ultra-low power consumption (ULP) and TMS320C64x + digital signal processors for the first time in object code form ( DSP) provided. The combination of VoLIB and FAXLIB with TI DSP technology can shorten development time and provide an open environment for OEM manufacturers to help them use TI's voice and fax library specific modules to differentiate their products.
