HP laptop was jointly complained
On March 15th, the world's largest PC manufacturer Hewlett-Packard met the "Quality Gate" in China. At present, more than 200 HP consumers have submitted a complaint against HP to the AQSIQ.
Beijing consumer Wang Fengchang said that in January 2007, he bought an HP DV2154 laptop for 10,500 yuan. After seven or eight months of use, the computer started to show a black screen and could not be turned on. Mr. Wang found the HP after-sales service center and replaced the motherboard for the first time. The motherboard that was replaced one year later was burnt out, and Mr. Wang replaced it again, and burned out for the third time one year later.
Mr. Wang found many similar consumer complaints on the Internet, so he joined several HP users who had similar problems on the Internet to file a complaint with AQSIQ.
HP: Affected models can be found online
Hewlett-Packard issued a statement yesterday, saying that it is not convenient for HP to make any comments on unconfirmed matters. Since November 2007, HP has launched a limited warranty service plan for some HP Pavilion and Compaq Presario laptop users. The specific product models affected can be queried through the HP after-sales support website.
Regarding the issue of refunds or recalls raised by some consumers, Cong Ming, HP China ’s public relations manager, said that Hewlett-Packard will definitely handle the country ’s relevant three-guarantee laws and IT product regulations.
AQSIQ: No complaint materials
Yesterday, the reporter faxed the outline of the interview to the Information Office of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and called to confirm. The staff said that they would reply as soon as possible. But no reply was received until the deadline.
Afterwards, the reporter called the AQSIQ Defective Product Management Center. The other party said that they had not received the complaint materials and would reflect the problem based on the content of the complaint.
