The relevant person in charge of the Shanghai Semiconductor Lighting Engineering Technology Research Center revealed yesterday that the high-end LED semiconductor lighting produced by Shanghai will be used in the cabin lighting and docking system lighting of the Shenzhou 8th, 9th and 10th spacecrafts in the “Twelfth Five-Year Planâ€. During this period, this energy-saving and reliable lighting equipment is expected to replace 30% of general lighting.

At present, the price of LED lights is still relatively high, about 3-8 times that of ordinary energy-saving lamps. Some people in the industry expect that with the development of technology, the price of LED lamps will drop at a rate of 30% per year.
