In order to improve the power factor of the user and maintain balance, to improve power supply and demand. These measures are formulated for both parties and social and economic benefits. Standard value of the rate factor and its scope of application:
(1) Power factor standard 0.90, suitable for high-voltage power supply industrial users (including social industrial users) above 160 kVA, equipped with high-voltage power supply users with load-adjusting voltage devices and high-voltage power supply of 320 kVA and above Electric power irrigation and drainage station;

The power factor is calculated separately for each period, and the pilot province, city, autonomous region power bureau or power grid administration formulates the method and reports it to the Ministry of Water Resources and Power for trial.
Adjustment of electricity fee: According to the calculated power factor, when the electricity price is calculated according to the specified electricity price, the electricity fee will be increased or decreased according to the percentage specified in the “Power Factor Adjustment Electricity Meter”.
